2024 United For Impact Gala Video – United Way of North Central Florida
United Way of North Central Florida is a branch of the international non-profit organization United Way that focuses on providing resources for communities experiencing difficulties due to poverty, financial hardships, natural disasters.
As a Communications and Marketing Intern at United Way of North Central Florida, I created this promotional video for the 2nd annual “United For Impact” Gala using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
Reading Pals Video – UWNCFL
Reading Pals is United Way of North Central Florida’s youth literacy program. I interviewed a volunteer named Yasmeen on her involvement within the program and experience teaching elementary school students who struggle with reading.
UF Health and United Way Advertisement
UF Health is a non-profit healthcare system affiliated with the University of Florida. UF Health includes 11 hospitals, 6 research institutes, 6 health colleges, and hundreds of outpatient clinics located throughout Florida.
I created guided questions to ask UF healthcare workers about their involvement with United Way. The promotional video has since been shared on social media, posted on YouTube, and aired on television.
United Way of North Central Florida’s Tuxedo T-shirt Gala
I created these posters for United Way of North Central Florida’s Tuxedo T-shirt Gala. The first design was chosen as the official poster for the event. I then created a sponsorship packet, website banner, auction form, silent auction big sheet, slideshow, table tents, social media posts, and an Our Town Magazine advertisement based on my design.
United Way of North Central Florida’s Small Business Summit Program
I created a program for the Small Business Summit hosted by United Way of North Central Florida. The theme of the conference theme was “The Dark Side of Leadership”.

United Way of North Central Florida’s outreach specifically focuses on the counties: Alachua, Bradford, Dixie, Gilcrest, Levy, and Putnam County. Their organization Keys To Home is the Lead Agency for the FL-508 Continuum of Care. Keys To Home’s purpose is to provide aid to both local communities and individuals experiencing homelessness.
United Way of North Central Florida – Press Release
Every January, United Way of North Central Florida and Keys To Home coordinate a Point-in-Time (PIT) Count across North Central Florida. The purpose of the PIT Count is to collect information on members of the community who are currently experiencing homelessness. The press release below entails the purpose of the survey, when it will be taking place, and how volunteers can participate in trainings before the annual count.

As a member of the Volunteer and Logistics Committee for the PIT Survey, I am responsible for creating press releases, informational flyers, and social media posts. I often collaborate with the Keys To Home Coordinator and my team at United Way of North Central Florida to collect all necessary information and schedule release dates.

Enzo Footwear Advertising Campaign
I created an advertising campaign for the brand Enzo Footwear. In my campaign, I discussed ways to improve consumer outreach and marketing tactics on social media. I also pitched a commercial that was more inclusive and welcoming to both current and prospective consumers. I often use Microsoft PowerPoint to create advertising campaigns.
